To say thanks to the community that supports us, we are working with groups to help them raise money. In most cases, we do this by sharing revenue. We will designate one evening for your group. As customers come in, we will ask them if they’re with your group and, if they are, we will put their receipts aside. Afterwards, those receipts will be totaled and we will give you 25% of the revenue. There is no cost to your group for setting this up. Note that only revenue from open-play tickets is subject to sharing. Revenue from drinks, snacks, parties, or group events is not eligible.
We are presently scheduling fundraisers on Friday nights. We will publicize your event on our Facebook page and twitter feed, but how much money your group receives will ultimately be determined by how many people you can bring to the event. You should make sure all of your members know about it, and make sure they bring their friends.
We do not reserve any spots for your group until tickets are purchased. If you do not buy tickets in advance, other groups may book time in the arena on your fundraising night. Those spots will not be available for your group and you will not receive revenue from those sales. If that leads to sell outs, it may preclude members of your group from playingn. You can avoid this by having your group members buy their tickets ahead of time on our open-play page
We put a maximum of 22 players into our arena at one time. If you have a large group, you don’t want everyone showing up at one time. Instead, you want to make sure that your group spreads itself out over the evening. The easiest and most efficient way to do this is to have people buy their tickets ahead of time on our open-play page — that way, everyone has a ticket and knows exactly when they’re playing.
Setting up your fundraising event is as easy as falling off a log: pick a date and then get in touch with us. As long as there’s not a conflict on that date, we’ll reserve it for your group’s fundraising effort.
What you need to do: After scheduling your fundraiser, you need to make sure everyone associated with your group knows about it and tells their friends, etc. In order to raise the most money, you need to have everyone come in to play on your fundraiser evening.
Contact us if you have any questions or to set up your event.
